My Story

I am Monika Skyland, an expert of inner transformation. I think of myself as a renaissance woman: a bestselling author, an intuitive guide, a spiritual teacher and a soul-business mentor. I strive to live with “heart in Heaven and feet on Earth,” combining practical entrepreneurial skills needed for running a successful educational enterprise with leading an awakened life, being a fulfilled woman and a conscious parent.

Born as a conscious indigo-child and a natural intuitive, I have grown up in a household with openness of mind not typical for the 70’s: meditation, intuition, natural healing modalities, herbs, macrobiotic food, massage, energy healing, astrology, rebirthing, dowsing, pendulum work, discussions on different world philosophies, art and literature. That made me an “odd-one-out” among my peers. However, it gave me an understanding for individuals outside of the mainstream, who – in order to survive – had to either dim their light or became a spiritual warrior. That exprience proved valuable later in my life, making me an understanding and compassionate teacher for those who dimmed themselves down as children and now wish to ignite their inner flame again.

Wherever you come from and whatever your past is, nothing is off-limits for me, as I can understand the winding paths of life, roads rarely travelled, and unusual synchronicities – everything that makes you a unique individual. I can see beyond the obvious and guide you intuitively on your path, as long as you need some assistance.

What I can offer you?

I find myself grounded and active in life, successful in business (“feet on Earth”) but aware of my soul’s plan and connected with my spirit (“heart in Heaven”). My life motto is: “Live with heart in heaven, feet on earth” – inspired, grounded and successful. I will lead you there, if you want to achieve a similar balance in your life.

I have entrepreneurial experience of 25+ years and a deep spiritual practice since I was 13.  I can help you enhance your business life with values to make it a meaningful and fulfilling soul business and deepen your spiritual practice, combining professional and private into a vibrant and happy life.

I hold university degrees from the Western and Eastern Institutes: I studied pedagogics and languages in the West and philosophy and theory of perception in the Far East. Working with me, you benefit from the firm foundation of my years-long in-depth studies and my personal experience. I can access ancient wisdom and make it a practical tool for the success of your private and business life.

I am a mother of two. I had been married for 21 years but got divorced at my brave wish, when I saw that we grew apart and it would be beneficial for each of us to pursue our individual paths. Therefore, I can understand your challenges of parenting and issues you encounter in relationships. I will help you become self-empowered, define your needs, create healthy boundaries without a sense of guilt, and become more self-loving and self-forgiving. If you decided to get divorced, I can help you to undergo this difficult process in grace.

I have been trained in UK and USA in leading a successful business by, among others, Jack Canfield and graduated from a 2-year program at the Psychic University under the mentorship of Sonia Choquette. I can distinguish between the needs and goals of corporate clients, educational organisations and private individuals, addressing issues and aspects essential for each target group. I like to incorporate universal humanistic values and a holistic approach, which induces a transformational shift in each case.

I am a modern mystic without a monastery, standing in the midst of life, making a difference in people’s lives through my educational business on one hand and, on the other, teaching Self-Love & Self-Forgiveness, Self-Worth and Self-Compassion, Conscious Parenting, Intuition and Modern Spirituality. I guide my clients to a lasting shift, through seminars, programs, books and philanthropic activities, while continuously doing my own inner work. I can help you achieve mastery in the above areas of life, as well as attain more inner peace, joy, love and happiness. You will learn how to consciously choose the right job, create legacy and align your actions with your heart’s desires.

I serve as a teacher and mentor for others but I never stop learning myself. You deal with a professional who has decades of experience, yet never ceases to advance and grow herself.

I enjoy studying mystic writings of all religions, “A Course In Miracles (ACIM)” and other philosophical treatises. At the same time, I love dancing, go to the movies and travel the world – modern spirituality includes all aspects of life, embraces our wholeness, without denying any aspect of our human existence.

Working with me, you have an opportunity to address any aspect of your life and shift into being more confident and courageous to live your truth, in joy and fullness.

I understand conscious birth and don’t fear death, seeing through and beyond. If interested, you will have a chance to shed your fears around the process of dying and transitioning into the Light of Love. I also received a Buddhist transmission for the conscious dying practice, which I learnt in numerous retreats and extracted its essence to benefit anyone beyond a religious tradition.

I was fortunate to grow up with the four main world religions at home (Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism), which instilled in me a deep respect towards various methods leading equally to inner growth. I recognized that a spiritual realization is not dependent on a tradition, but on the individual practising it actively. By my own choice at the age of 13, I started practising Buddhism and have continued for 27 years. I left organized religion by the age of 40 to study mystical writings of the main religious and philosophical systems, as well as the ACIM principles. I got trained on three continents in different systems of accessing Inner Wisdom. As the result, I become focused on the universal truth and what connects us all beyond rituals, terminology and cultural differences. Whatever your background is, I respect your views, helping you to advance within your own belief system, addressing the universal truth and the divine in you.

My profound and life changing 1:1 programs, group sessions and seminars are conducted with humour – bringing your spirit into your everyday life, makes you powerful, vibrant and joyful (not disattached, aloof or stiff). All the sessions are interactive and offer hands-on experiences and breakthroughs. You integrate new insights into your life, i.e. you learn to embody your new self through an array of practical tools and move, step by step, towards a lasting transformation.

At the end you receive tools how to keep and further evolve your expanded state of being. Mentoring connects you with your personal space of wisdom, love and self-empowerment, which induces profound transformation and lasting changes in your life.
